About Us

DSC_0087_CROPPED.jpg

The Spizale family's love affair with the Straight Egyptian Arabian horse began almost thirty years ago in the desert of Giza, Egypt.  Today, three generations of the family work together to continue the passion that started long ago.

Nestled among the towering pines of Kokomo, Mississippi, Jim and Jill Spizale, along with daughter and son-in-law Amanda and Lance Picou have created a horse’s paradise for Straight Egyptian Arabian Horses whose bloodlines can be traced back for centuries.  From the youngest 2018’s Empress Imdalia (Asami Magic x MI Intuition) to the oldest, 1992’s Maaristral (The Minstril x AK Imaara), the Spizale-Picou owned horses enjoy 36 acres of lush rolling pastures where they receive daily hands-on care and attention.

It is our belief that those of us who have the honor of owning these magnificent treasures have a duty to educate ourselves about their history and to preserve that history by passing it on to others and introducing them to the breed.
